New singing classes with Musical Bumps every Tuesday at Ark Start Oval

The free sessions take place at 2.30pm in our community room.

At Ark Start Oval, we’re excited to welcome new free singing classes every Tuesday afternoon, thanks to Musical Bumps. These sessions are open to all families with children from 0–2 years of age and take place at 2.30pm in our community room.

With 17 years of experience leading singing groups and sharing her knowledge of the benefits of singing with young children, Maree will ensure parents and carers leave each session with songs and music games to try at home. You will revisit familiar rhymes and songs as well as learn new ones and share 30-45 minutes of singing fun with your child. Resources such as puppets and child-friendly percussion help make each session engaging and fun.

Singing with toddlers isn’t just fun—it plays a vital role in their early development. Songs and rhymes help little ones build early language and listening skills, and the rhythm and repetition make it easier for them to pick up new words. Singing also strengthens bonds, giving you both a chance to connect, laugh and share moments of joy.

The sessions finish at 3.00pm for nursery parents and 3.15pm for school parents.

There’s no need to register – just turn up at the nursery entrance and press the buzzer for the community room to enjoy our free singing classes. Come and join us!
