We’re delighted to see Ark Start’s Director of Early Years, Molly Devlin, appointed as an expert adviser on Ofsted’s Curriculum, Teaching and Assessment external reference group. Through this group, experts will offer first-hand advice and recommendations to support Ofsted’s thinking on early years curriculum quality and teaching practice.
There are a total of seven external reference groups across different areas of education and childcare, all working together to help raise the childcare provision standards. They will meet three times a year to discuss and challenge Ofsted’s data, share sector updates and shape strategic priorities through their insights.
Molly’s contribution will help ensure that Ofsted’s work reflects the latest thinking and best practice in early years education. This includes advising on proposed policy changes, offering feedback on inspection frameworks, and helping to ensure that standards continue to improve.
