Meet the team

Hi! My name is Louise. I’m currently a manager in training at Ark Start Nurseries. I’m passionate about providing children with the highest quality of care and education as they begin their early childhood journey. I’ve been working in private nurseries for nine years now. I love telling stories and getting creative with the children, watching them unleash their imagination. In my free time, I enjoy travelling, photography, and hiking.

I love working in early years because I get to see the real difference we can make in children’s development. It’s wonderful watching them grow and build those special partnerships with their families too.

I’m a qualified Level 5 Manager in Early Years and have almost 10 years of experience in the sector. My background has given me a strong understanding of how to support children’s learning and create an environment where they feel happy, safe and confident.

Outside of work, I love to travel and discover new countries. I’m also a big food lover and enjoy looking out for new places to try, especially when I’m spending time with family and friends.

It’s both rewarding and wonderfully challenging working in early years. I love seeing children learn, grow, and become more confident in themselves. Watching their progress and being part of a team that supports them every step of the way inspires me every day.

I have a Level 3 qualification and have worked in childcare for many years in a variety of roles. My experience has helped me understand how to best support children’s learning and wellbeing, and I’m passionate about creating a positive, nurturing environment for them.

Outside of work, I enjoy meeting up with friends and family.

I love seeing how children in my care can learn, flourish, and grow in confidence. Being there to support them through each key milestone in their early life feels rewarding and brings me joy.

I studied Early Childhood Studies at Roehampton University, and while I was there I gained experience working in primary schools through an agency. I have also worked at Bright Horizons Nursery, which helped build my understanding of high-quality early years practice and child development.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading books and spending time with my family.

I am passionate about working in early years education, as it allows me to contribute to and witness the growth of young children. Seeing them become more confident, curious, and independent is incredibly rewarding. I particularly cherish those “lightbulb moments” when they grasp new concepts or achieve their milestones.

With a Level 3 qualification in childcare, I have dedicated around 10 years to this field.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my large family and embarking on adventures with my daughter.

With more than two decades of experience in early and primary education, I am passionate about supporting children as they explore their world, make discoveries, and build meaningful connections. Watching children succeed and achieve is one of the greatest joys of working in early years, and it continues to inspire my practice every day.

I hold an Early Childhood Degree as well as Early Years Qualified Teacher Status, and I have worked across nearly every sector of early and primary education. This breadth of experience has shaped my approach, ensuring that every child feels encouraged, included, and excited to learn.

Outside of work, I enjoy embracing my inner comic book enthusiast by dressing up as my favourite characters and attending Comic Con events. I also love swimming, roller coasters, and travelling the world.

I enjoy seeing children happy and watching them grow and develop. It’s incredibly rewarding to be part of their learning journey and to share in those little moments of joy, especially when they say their first words or show their growing confidence.

I’ve spent a lot of time working with children since my secondary school years. I enjoy supporting and playing with them, and I’ve helped in schools with sports days and after‑school 1:1 programmes.

Outside of work, I love playing sports with my family and younger siblings. I also support families with babysitting, which helps me deepen my understanding of children and continue expanding my knowledge and experience.

I love working in early years because helping little ones and their families reach important milestones is incredibly special. The bonds we create are irreplaceable, and what inspires me most is knowing that the experiences children have now can boost their confidence and learning in the future.

I am Level 2 qualified and am nearing the end of my Level 3 apprenticeship in early years. I’m passionate about supporting children through their early learning journey and being part of their growth and development.

In my free time, I love to read books and spend as much time as I can with my family and friends.

Being part of this opportunity to help the little ones learn and grow is something that I am very grateful for. Having a chance to build a relationship with the children, parents, and Ark team and become a family within Ark. I have siblings who have given me the most wonderful niece and nephews, and I believe that because of them building a relationship with all these beautiful families is something that I will look forward to everyday.

In my free time I like to spend time with my friends and family, and my adorable cat Nala.

I’m excited to work in early years because I want to help strengthen children’s development so they are able to gain confidence, so they are ready for the future. I have a level 2 in health and social care which helped me understand that communication and safeguarding is the most important foundations of keep young children safe. My aim is to bring children’s imagination to life by creative play and storytelling.

In my free time I like spending time with family and travelling the world.

I am excited to work in the early years because I believe I can make a positive impact of children’s lives by helping them reach and prosper through their years with Ark. Aiding them to build and expand on their confidence and education, really inspires me knowing that I was a part of their journey.

Previously working in a daycare nursery and coming from a big family, I believe that working in an environment such as an Apprentice for Ark Start Early Years will help me with the foundation of my career in childcare. In my free time, I love to read and spend as much time as I can with family and friends.

Molly is Director of Early Years at Ark and runs Ark Start nurseries. She is passionate about providing quality education for young children and has worked in the early years for over 12 years – as a nursery headteacher, nursery manager, reception teacher, and as a primary school senior leader responsible for safeguarding, SEN, Early Years and early reading, including synthetic phonics to name a few.

She loves singing and storytelling and knows how fun and motivating it is for young children to learn more about the world through stories, songs and experiences. Originally from New Zealand, Molly enjoys spending as much time outdoors as possible and, in her spare time, she loves cuddling her cats.
