Working in early years, I most enjoy interacting and playing with the children. Unlike working in Primary schools, I love that the children this age best learn through play. Every day is exciting and different, and so much fun! As a teacher, I believe all students should have equal learning experiences. In in a Nursery setting, where each learner is on their unique learning journey, I enjoy the challenge in making all our activities engaging, relevant and enjoyable for students of all backgrounds and needs.
My teaching journey started in 2023, with a PGCE in Primary teaching and learning (with a QTS). During that year, I received practical and theoretical training on how to best teach all subjects of the National Curriculum students aged between 5 and 11 years old. As a Preschool teacher, I know skillsets and knowledge our preschoolers will need to thrive in a Primary setting, and I am determined to help them prepare for their academic journey as best as possible. In June 2025 I also completed my Master of Education, where I spent a year researching and exploring the important social dynamics and a school system. Knowing how key relationships between teachers, parents and of course students are, I am eager to get to know all the families that are part of our Ark Globe Community!
Outside of the classroom, I love to relax by listening to music or reading a book. If not, I am usually out exploring London. I am Italian but was raised in the South of France and attended a British school, so I enjoy learning about new cultures through festivals, museums and restaurants. I also live close to my cousins, sister brother-in-law and 6-month-old niece, and will often find myself spending an afternoon or evening with them for a meal, games or even just a nice chat.
