I am a passionate practitioner who cares deeply about children’s development. I’m committed to creating a secure, nurturing space where children can explore, express their creativity, and feel valued and supported. What inspires me most is knowing that the right experiences in early years can help every child grow, thrive and develop confidence.
I have been working with children for around 12 years, across both voluntary and paid roles. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree (2:1) in Childhood and Youth Studies, which has equipped me with strong knowledge and practical understanding to support children in their early learning journey. My background helps me bring a thoughtful, informed approach to my practice every day.
Outside of work, I enjoy arts and crafts, cooking, travelling, and spending time with family and friends. I’m also an active member of my Baptist church, where I serve as a deacon/trustee, Sunday school teacher, and Designated Safeguarding Lead for children and young people, among other roles. These experiences strengthen my commitment to helping others and supporting the communities I’m part of.
